Joey Dunlop the greatest racer of all time IMO. How cud u leave off a true legend from the list. Even tho hes best known as a road racer dont forget that to win the F1 motorcycle world championship u also had to race at some short circuits and since he won it 5 times he obviously wasnt that bad on the circuits.

Don't get me wrong Daz. I love Bayliss and cheer him on whether he's running 3rd or 13th but he's not in the same ballpark as Rainey, Lawson, Doohan. I guess I can only comment on who I've seen so it's pointless me mentioning guys like Ago and Hailwood. So it's got to be out of Doohan, Rainey, Lawson, Swantz and Rossi. If Rossi had a mentally strong opponant I would give it to him but no one has stuck it to him in that regard. Gibbers is very fragile. So I'll toss a coin and because I'm Aussie and what he came back from I'll say Mick. Even tho Creville was hardly the challenge that the others were earlier you must remember Mick came mighty close in 91' and 92'. I think it was 91' when he only had customer spec off the shelf Michelins and of course the crash in 92'. But thats all what if's.

I voted for King Carl Fogarty as my fav bike racer. Watching him destroy the other world superbike racers year after year was a joy to behold.! Viva La Fogarty.!
