Ex-WCM MotoGP rider Chris Burns is currently looking for a ride for the 2005 race season, but time is running out fast. The 24-year-old British rider has posted a message on the MotoGP message boards on this site, in his search for a ride after a World Superbikes deal fell through at the last moment. "If I haven't got a boatload of cash it isn't happening," said Burns. "Before Christmas it was almost a done deal with Klaffi Honda until the sponsor pulled out at the very last minute. By that time all the good rides have gone. I could have got a deal with a good British Superbike team but not one with a good chance of winning, and that's really what I need, and obviously the last two years of riding at the back of the MotoGP field hasn't helped." If you happen to run a race team and wish to get in touch with Chris, email his manager at motogpservice@aol.com.
