Work has begun by DucFreak and Myself updating Laguna Seca track, we have opened it up and identified many files, we dont know how long it will take to complete, but rest assured you guys will be the first to know. AI and Physics files have been identified too, so far so good, watch this space for more updates.

Here is a link guys to download what i have done to Laguna so far, should be complete by the weekend. s19.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2EGG16IBFYTS013ILIMO1GHOBCTo install you have to delete Laguna folder in GFX/Tracks, then extract Laguna mix with mix-extractor, this will create a new Laguna folder, unrar this file and place it in new Laguna folder, replacing old file. All done, enjoy.

I'll better add to whats sayed before that all u guys with Win-XP must put Mix-Extractor running under Win-98/Me Compability, to avoid possible problems. Nice one Dazzie!

Good stuff man. It looks like yo put lots of different banners around the track and you managed to move the bridge. Excellent ;D When do you think you'll be able to get SPA from GTR in?

Hi There Good to see peeps editing this game again.
I did allot with it ages ago and got to a point that i could edit most files except mpdels. I could change track graphics, camera positions, ai rider ability and bike physics as well as menus and rider names etc etc, all except models which frustrated me. So i moved over to Formula 1 Challenge and worked on the V8 mod.
I can make tracks for Formula 1 Challenge using 3DS max and Zmod so am real keen on getting them into SBK2001.
I will post what ever infomation i have still and help others where i can and hopefully someone will get into the models, ive stopped holding my breath.
Derek
