Hello all, I have just started using SBK2001 and have downloaded some physics files to test, they have the '.ast' extension.
But for the life of me, I cannot understand how you load them or use them!?
Does anyone know?
Thanks.

HI Spud have a look at the bottom of the forum main page in Xtras/Downloads I just downloaded two Physics files two weeks ago. 2001SBKphysics_BETA_01.1.zip and Blades_Physics_V2.0_Fixed.rar. The .rar file can be unzipped using this free program www.7-zip.org/ If you don’t have one already. as far as an ".ast" file extension is concerned This website may help you filext.com/index.php.

I have done some looking, I'm some what new at this as well. .AST files or I should say ST files are saved bike setups that can be placed in the game folder so you can load them in the game. these files are only adjustments of the options menu in the game. the fist letter of the file extension designates the bike model ie- A for Aprila Y for Yamaha H for Honda and so on. put any ST files in your C:\Program Files\EA Sports\Superbike 2001\Save\Setup (defalt install file) and your good to go if you like riding the Aprila? ?. the physics files I suggested in the last post are altered game data. Like power curves, tire grip, wet and dry traction and such stuff you can't alter in the game

Thanks Abraham, So that is what the '.AST' extension is all about, Aprilla and '.HST' for Honda and so on. I will have a fiddle and see what I can do.
I did unrar the files I had into: C:\Program Files\EA\Sports\Superbike 2001\Save\Setup, but when I went to load them they did not show up in the list, and superbike doesn't seem to allow you to browse folders to look for them. All I had showing up was the 'default' setup!
I will have a look again and see what happens.
Thanks.
