Hello. I have been playing SBK2001 for quite a while now and the game always ran smoothly on my computer even in full details. But I was always annoyed by the strange rear tyre slide effect that put you down the road even if you stop speed up, or speed up really really carefully .... I think I found a way to increase playability in the game : put every details in the game setup to low (bike texture, track texture, etc), no reflections, ... The game looks worst (well still better than an old CGA game) but I felt that the playability was increased : I guess the game now mostly cares of information from my joystick now, so control on the bike is more precise. Maybe some of you can test this as well, or have tried this before, and tell me if they felt the same ? Ciao.

ciao(hi), i'm sorry, but i'm not agree with u. i dont think that low datail can help u to play the game better. put low detail is useful only when u're playing online, to cut down lag, or if u have a not so good pc(as me). i think that use a good joystick, something like playstation joypad, could help u a lot playing SBK with no aids. analog control helps a lot to give gas without fall down. and don't forget that in SBK there are very powerful bikes, so it's not too strange that if u dont be careful u can have big problems! Ciao, ciao. Bye, bye.
