I'm certainly looking forward to this game and some online competition. ;DAll these sbk 2001 mods are awsome in their own rights but nothing beats real rivals! Hope to see you there Pierre! best regards MikeX

Hi, Anyone played SBK07 recently? I've read a few reviews & it appears that the PS2 version of the game is good, but not great. Most reviews have been around the 7/10 mark. However, I just read a post on another forum that the PS2 version is awful to look at the sound is terrible Anyone have feedback on the game?

Can you tell me which are the two tracks that are missing in the game? It is said that only are 11 tracks in the game, so because world superbikes have 13 tracks in the real racing!!! I think about Eurospeedway and Vallelunga. Too bad they didn't include in the game all the official tracks from the 07 season . Maybe in the PC version we' ll have the all. Misano is in with the new layout ?

Seems as though some people have played a demo, others have the full version.
I've lifted a few quotes from another board (motogpnews) for the benefit of the users here (I hope this is OK by the mods):
"Hard. Very Hard. It's basically the same game as 'super-bikes riding challenge' with all the same faults.
If you play it on sim mode it's possibly the most frustrating bike game you'll ever play. Whoever programmed it decided that bikes can only ever brake in a totally straight line or you'll wash the front out and for some reason the bikes are also horrendously slow turning and understeer like mad whilst also being extremely twitchy, oddly though the braking is more erratic with the analogue stick and using the buttons is smoother. I'd had a couple of horrendous tank-slappers in my time and they were easier to control than this game.
I'm sure there's a good compromise for bike handling out there somewhere in games - moto gp on the 360 is a bit too safe, though feels good at times, namcos moto gp on the ps2 is pants leaving perhaps TT superbikes as the standard setter, edge with stability.
Presentation-wise I can't fault it. The all authentic setting is bang on and the tracks look good and it sounds fairly sharp. The race weekend is played out like the real thing, you can even do it in realtime if you want!
I can usually kick ar$e on this sort of thing (well I was kicking arse on 360 moto gp online until my subscription ran out) but I may be forced to try 'arcade' mode out (though you can customise how many aids you leave on/off anyway) over full sim as it really is that annoying. To put it into context....it's harder than gp500 on the pc"
Further...
"had a play with the options in sim mode and come to a compromise. Turning on the anti-lock option on the brakes transforms the game from frustrating to fairly enjoyable. I don't like using aids and the like but it was annoying now it's very acceptable. You can use TC as well but I've gone for the medium option as off is wild and full is too much. Other options I'm not sure about are rider health and bike damage as about 3 off is all you'll get (2 more than in real life). "

The graphics (at least on PS2) are worst than the SBK2001's ones on PC ... lol
It's surely not with this new game that SBK2001 will be uninstalled ...
