I think Ducati will show good this year ;D My money is on Capirossi Gibernau not racing now m8, you might want to change the name in your poll.

I wrote a thingy out for my forum;
The first race of the season. This is going to be maybe one of the most iconic MotoGP races for a long time, as it will answer the question thats on everybodys mind. Will Rossi reclaim his championship title and win the first race on the new 800cc's, or will he crash and burn? Who will be the first race winner? Will it be the Rizlas, or will it be the Ducati's? Lets take a look at some of the aspects: Rizla Suzuki (John Hopkins, Chris Vermulen) . The same team line up as last year, but they seem most likely to be top. Even after a poor year in 06, with only a few podiums, they are testing the first and second fastest.
Camel Yamaha.(Valentino Rossi, Colin Edwards) After an unlucky year for Rossi, and an almost equally unlucky one for Edwards, will the Yamaha team regain there world championship status?
Desmocidi Ducati. (Loris Capirossi, Casey Stoner). After a great start to the year by Capiorssi in 06, he looked most likey to be world champion of the last 990cc world championship. But the Barcelona crash stopped that. Casey Stoner spent half of 06 in the gravel, but when finishing, was almost always in the top 5.
Repsol Honda (Nicky Hayden, Dani Pedrosa). After a great year for newcomer Pedrosa and new world champion Nicky Hayden, will he be able to keep is number one status? Testing status sais otherwise, with them back in the 6ths and 7ths,

Rossi win win...hopefully Edwards will be given a bike that is capable of running near the pointy end (he spends most of his time tyre testing).
Ducati will be up the front with Stoner & Capirossi when the tracks have long straights (as witnessed in the first race of the year).
Honda have put all their efforts into Pedrosa winning, everyone else Honda mounted will suffer, especially Nicky Hayden.
Suzuki will be in the top 10 most of the year. I suspect Hopkins will put Suzuki on the podium before Vermulen this season.
Kawasaki will no doubt have yet another "why bother" season.

Mostly true: capirossi is doing crap Stoner finished 3rd on one of the most technical circuits Hopkins got 1st podium, but vermulen got 1st win. Stoner is favourite now.

I'd love a Stoner & Ducati championship win, however there are a lot of rounds left. I'd still rate Rossi as the favourite, despite current form saying otherwise ;D Rossi & Burgess are complaining about engine power, crap tyres & Burgess even mentioned how well Rossi could do on a now very improved Kawasaki! Thinly veiled threat perhaps? Even with Rossi signed to 2008... Rossi has stated in the Italian Press that the 4 rounds are crucial to his championship & getting back on terms with Stoner. Lets see if all the talk leads somewhere... As for Edwards, who is one of my favourites from his antics in WSBK, the last race was a shocker. The Edwards haters have had a field day with this...even though there is speculation as to what really happened to his bike. Some websites report a poor tyre choice, others claim the bike sounded sick when he entered the pits 2 laps into the race & then there are reports the rear wheel bearing died. In any case, CE better start the "winning or binning" riding style as Lorenzo has been talking with senior Yamaha management (rumors say Rossi has said no to this change in rider) & I can't see Yamaha accepting another mediocre year. Loris is having a hard time adapting to the bike. As much as I like Loris, I can't say that I care too much what happens if his season continues to go south. Troy Bayliss got stuck riding a 990 built around what Loris wanted & got the elbow for perceived "poor" performance. I'm still bitter about it CV got the first win for Suzuki in brilliant style I do feel sorry for Hopkins who rides his bike so damn hard & usually fuks things up by trying too hard. I hope he gets a win this year.
