Vallelunga (Italy), The Ducati Xerox Team has concluded its pre-season testing schedule with two days at the Vallelunga circuit on the outskirts of Rome, where the penultimate round of the World Superbike Championship will be held in September. For two-times world champion Bayliss, it was his first taste of the Vallelunga circuit, while Lorenzo Lanzi has already raced here in 2003, on the old track before recent modifications lengthened it to 4.11 km. Sunday's good weather was followed by wintry conditions today, but at the end of the two days both riders were pleased with the work done in view of the championship opener in Qatar in a couple of weeks time
The quickest time of the test, 1m38.5s, was set on Sunday by Troy Bayliss, who also had positive things to say about the Rome track.
"I guess the most important thing for us was to actually come here because it's the only place on the calendar this year that I haven't seen" declared Troy. "We were limited with laps due to the weather but considering the time I had yesterday we did a pretty good job, setting 38.5 a few times when we only rode in the afternoon and today we made hardly any laps either. This afternoon I went out in the rain as well, which was confidence-inspiring because it's been a while since I've ridden in the rain. I like the circuit because it's got a bit of character about it, very up and down, and quite physical as well but I think it'll make for a good race here. The championship starts in ten days time and I'm born ready!"

Daz,
I was on the NoGripRacing forum earlier today and exchanged posts with DucFreak about motorcycles and, in particular, SBK2001. I asked him if he could point me to a utility I could use to speed up the AI bikes so I can enjoy competition in Pro and even Amateur difficulty, since I've always found the Real setting to be like trying to race on ice. He pointed me to you at this site.
I first discovered your site back in June 2005, when I was thrilled to find the XP patch that made it possible for me to keep playing one of my favorite games on my hot new Dell PC. I also downloaded the Mtt Explorer and Mix Extractor--which I still have--and even downloaded a free trial copy of a popular text editor, intending to use it to alter the performance of the AI bikes and/or my player bike. But I didn't get that far before work and family responsibilities put too much demands on my time. Is there an easy-to-use utility that you or someone else developed for this purpose, or can you encourage me in how to make use of the Mtt and Mix tools I still have?
Much thanks for any help.

Thanks! I just downloaded all the SBK2001 files you made available on January 10; now I'll crack them open and see what I've got. The WSB2003 package is the most popular. Are those the files DucFreak made?

2001SBKphysics_BETA_01.1.zip is the download you want, these are the ones made by DucFreak, the files in download section were made by different people, if we dont know the author we leave it blank.
Can you now carry this thread on in the proper section of sbk2001, this section is for real WSBK, thanks
