I thought this may be intereasting. I'll start. I was racing at mallory park a couple of weeks ago on my aprilia rs125 in the superteen series wen i had my crash. I was goin round a corner and got lapped but the 14 yr old who was lapping me sat up round a 80mph corner wen i was nxt to him and his back wheel hit my front wheel. I got sent into a tank slapper and was heading straight for the only part of the track with no runoff! i coundnt steer cos the bars wer goin bak and forth so i just used the rear brake and woke up face down in the mud wiv my visor open. I was winded for a bit and then tried to climb over the barrier (as told to by the marshalls) wen i felt like i got stabbed in the neck. result: A basketball sized left knee with ligament damage and a broken collarbone which is still in a sling now. I was greeted at the end of the day by the kid who apologise (didn't make me feel better tho)

Good idea for a topic dh55 Hope you get better soon m8, Mallory isnt the best place to have an accident unless you end up in the lake, it sure isnt the safest track in the uk, but put it out your mind if you can, or you will hate racing there for ever more.

Wow that sounds bad dh55. Been lucky never really picked up many injuries racing. Don't know what it is, I must just bounce well. Worst damage I've picked up is a ruptured knee ligament which took two years and 3 ops to fix. All part of the fun though!!
My latest crash was on a mini moto believe it or not! I went around a corner with the throttle wide open and got High Sided. I never would have thought that a mini moto could have high sided me (6foot 3inch and 85KG), but it flipped me over the side and onto my back in a split second (mates could not stop laughing).
dh55 Stick at it mate, its best to get the bad crashes out of the way when your young!

Those minimotos are more dangerous than they look. My m8 high sided 1 like you but he broke his collarbone like me. I think ill stay away from those and stick to real bikes cos there too dangerous lol.
