Waking up this thread. It's nice to see what bikes people have or have had.
I haven't owned a bike for quite some time now, family and lack of money mostly. Well here's my list (i hope i remember them all).
Honda CB125K3 (yeah it's OLD, it was a long time ago but it was old when i bought it too. lol) Yamaha RD125 Zundapp KS125 Honda CB400F Honda CB500 Kawasaki KH500 (A beaty!) Yamaha XT500 Yamaha RD350 L/C (Raced with this in the RD350 cup, but i quitted after a bad crash). Suzuki GS1000 Suzuki GSX1100 Suzuki RG500 (Crashed with this one, not much left of it)
Guess i'm showing my age here. Doesn't take much to realize roughly how old i am eh?

My biking career started when i was 16 years old. Now i'm 31. I know much too old to play race sims. But sbk 2001 is still the best and most realistic bike sim i know. My first accident was a stupid one. I cruised around and saw a really pretty girl but i should have watched the traffic.... why did that guy stop his car? The second one really was not my fault. That idiot just didn't realise he was not alone . I didn't have any time to react. Today I say don't give such a powerful bike to a 20 year old boy. The third one was very similar to the second. No one can stop a bike from 80 km per hour to 0 in 4 meters. Car driver's 1st comment after the crash: where did you come from? Answer: Right over your car, you Don't give powerful cars to 18 year old boys. Greets, Sascha P.S. please excuse my horrible English

I forgot my worst ''accident''. It happened in my own garage. I forgot the side stand. Result: a broken left foot a bad injured ego a ZXR with almost no damage. Small wonder, it had a soft landing (on my leg). So don't try to impress your new girl friend, it hurts. Greets, Sascha

I've got news Last week i was ''hunting''. But seriously, I was on my way home when suddenly a blackbird (no Daz, not a CBR 1100 XX) hit my Mille. I was doing about 110 mph. It hit the bike between headlight and flap. Result: Sascha having a pulse of 180 or more, thinking , a dead bird, my bike looking like a chainsaw murderer. The next day I cleaned my baby. There was no damage at all. Aprilia build good fairings I think. And now I know what these flaps are for: they make it harder to get that birdrests off the bike(I had some problems keeping my breakfast in). Only 2 days later I wanted to adjust my rear shock. But what did I see? A dead bird between shock, muffler and swingarm! Meanwhile I was used to get birdrests off my bike. It looked a bit like a mummy, it must have been stuck there for some hours. And I always thought these bugs are hard enough to get off the bike. @ Daz: I'm sure you will laugh Greets, Sascha

2002 Kawasaki Super Sherpa (aka KL250, the air-cooled, older-styled version of the KLR250) I got it as a high school graduation present in the summer of 2003. I'm hoping to eventually replace it with a nice 600cc sportbike. When I was really young my father had a 1981 Kawasaki GPz-550. He eventually sold it to a friend of his and in 2001, that friend gave me a ride on the back of it. Needless to say that was a long 2 years wait for my own bike.
