I am also interested in this new online champ system.A one on one race just like in drag racing with elimination rounds could work. The last two going for the win. This could be repeated at every track. We could draw up a list of people interested and use hamachi which is good one on one. With 5 laps practice the 10 lap race seems good. The hamachi chat is good for several players so we could meet there before races and have differnent servers for each round which could be held at the same time.Ex:sbk1,sbk2,sbk3 and so on for each. After race time we report to lobby(hamachi chat) to announce winners. Then the rounds would continue untill winner is declared. Those who have lost would check here at the forum for results and feedback the next day. Of course a moderator would be announced to make sure everything is done with good manners from all!
just my opinion guys hope to see you soon
best regards ansd good racing Mike X

first of all we have to dicide the participants. anyway we can start to fix the rules of the championship. i'm not agree about doing elimination rounds. i think that it's important that each guy challenges all others drivers. in this way we can find a "best driver" for each track . with eliminations there'll be too less chance to win and we have less challenges for each track too. we can do 3 or more turns(depends on the number of drivers) of challenges. after each turn we can meet in a chat, for example MSN, and give results. as we done last year, to make results reliable, after each race a driver must do a screenshot, that i'll collect and notice. then we have to decide how to give points to winners. my idea is: -5 points to the winner of the challenge -2 points to the driver that lose -then some extra points. we'll decide for what in this way the guy that wins more challenges in a track will automatically have more points then others. tell me what do u think aobut it. and then, how are things going with physics? any problem? (don't forget to download the correct version! ;D)

hey blade thx for the work once again.I downed the new physics but haven't tried them fully yet.A few laps at phillip island and they seem ok.Sort of between the original and the beta?Throttle control is very important to not slide just like real sbk's!If you post a test race i will try to make it.I don't fully understand the challenge part of your idea.Do we challenge someone at a the track of our choice? If so i think a race schedule would be much better cause everyone has their favourite track.I am allready involved in two race nights Mondays and wednesday and my time zone is gmt-5 for europe and east for U.S.

Yeah, still there Blade. Quite busy, so I quickly tried your physics (good version this time : on Assen and Kyalami : I appreciate your work actually, but I should try back the original physics as well to be sure about the difference I felt compared with the original like I remembered them (I was a bit used to physics beta which were lot more easier of course). About online I guess you were thinking about choosing one particular track, where everyone compete everyone (only one on one of course) ; and then another track, and so on ... right ? Maybe that will be long to finish the championship ...

Hi 8Blade4. I broke my right hand last week so I can't handle my joystick to play SBK2001 now. So no feedback and no online champ for me for at least 5 weeks. See you.

I'm back. My hand doesn't hurt anymore. But I thinked about this "online champ" : I don't know for you but I find 1 on 1 race a little bit boring actually and often frustating when you fall and don't see the other guy until the end of the race (and waiting is not racing, right ?) ... So I'll wait the SBK2007 game in october, hoping that it will feature a working online code (well with SBK riding challenge it wasn't the case I heard (I didn't try that game)) Bye.

(and waiting is not racing, right ?) ... i don't think so. i thought about this champ because in 1 on 1 races that we did before, we had to go as faster as we can for all the race, because final positions were decided on race times. in the way that i proposed, u can totally forget the race time and focus only on the race and enjoy it.
