WE HAVE TO BIKESET 2006 SEASON. and we have to start now!
no ummmmming and arrrrring this time, just put hondas on honda models and ducati's on ducati models and so on. We just need to get skinning and not argue about how to arrange it.
All in favor say "I".
There are some great looking bikes out there this time!

Believe me m8, i would love to make more sets, but for me its a no go, it involves alot of work and there isnt enough people to make a set quick enough before it is out of date, when we made plans last year to make the 05 set it was left to me and Blade, Geronimo disappeared and he is a very good skinner. so im saying no to this 06 set, because the work load gets to much when people drop out.

Well its me and Drillah then. I've started on the Santander Yamaha bikes.
by the way which is the best Paint program to use. I'm currently using Corel Paintshop Pro X, but I used to use JASC Paintshop Pro 9 but it got deleted from my system. The free trial on corel version is about to run out. So any Sugestions would be welcome before I go and buy Corel PSP X (10).
Regarding the out of date thing. I still play SBK 2001 with the 2002 bikeset because it was such a great year. This year 2006 is another landmark year, if we could do a good set of skins for this season then we would be playing the game with it for ages. I think we have to at least try and do the major bikes. If we could Just skin: Yamaha Itailia Winston Honda Xerox Ducati Barros Honda Xaus Ducati Corona Suzuki the bikeset would be done as we can use old skins to make up the rest.

i dont know what to say. i can say yes, but i know as Daz that there will be a lot of work! and i think that bikes are too different now then 2001, for example Ducati 999 on 996 aren't so good. but for me it's ok, if you need my help. but i can't promise anything.

Sorry tom, i didn't mean to lead you on to believe i'm any good at skins or models. I was just showing support for the project. I don't have the time, more importantly I don't have the ability to help. But you're right, this year will be a cracker for sure.

no worries drillah. looks like its a one man band. I'm just despirate to update the game one last time. I've finished the Yamaha's already just need help with transparency. Is anyone out there a wiz with skins. Also the data files will need to be changed so that the riders go at the correct speed otherwise the good riders will be going slow in the game. Who did the 2002 bikeset? has anyone heard from Geo the guy who ran the last site?

only finished Yamaha Itailia at the moment. I'm half way through the hondas at the moment. It you want pics to skin then go to www.superbike-new.com and go to there gallery or just go to the manufactures websites. I will email you the skins of the Yamaha's to see if you ca sort the transparency problem.

tom, i see the skins. u have to make transparent areas in another color, something like green or pink, beacuse i cant select them if dont know what to select. about the other skins: very good job! i can do better the front of the bikes, i'll work on it .
