did you follow the instructions for the xp patch. You need to change the main exe too win98/me mode. I don't know what else to say. Is the game starting up? does it get to the intro then freexe and is there an error message appear? i followed the directions exactly, it gets like 1 second into the game then crashes, I can go through the startup in the game you know pick my rider bike etc. then in the game it crashes. The no cd crack doesnt work for me. Is there another palce to get the no cd crack. It tells me i dont ahve something when i try to install it. If you still need a no cd crack go to www.gamecopyworld.com and that should do it, if not add me on msn: bobalinman@hotmail.co.uk as I have 1 working

Yeah sorry kimi, hope you got it working by now. i've had it running on xp for a long time and i've never needed any patch at all.
...the older the program and the newer the hardware/OS...the more problems there are.
shit, i've got to run DOS emulation programs to play some of the games i still like to play every once in a while.

that seems tob e realy strange. i nver heard before about problems with nocd patch. try to follow those points, if u haven't don it yet: -install SBK2001 starting autoinstall in win98 compatibility -install unoffccial winXp patch -install nocd patch and run the game in winXp compatibility(default) -try to set the screen with 16bit insted of 32, if it still doesn't work.
the files that the game asks(.dll) it's a problem caused by winXP and solved by unofficial winXP patch.

I had problems with the nocd patch not letting me run the game, so tried putting the disc in the drive. THAT worked but was a nuisance so I made the disc image using Alcohol 120% ... that's the best of both worlds install from the image & play! No compatibility messing around, no switching screen res ... no hassles! I play 1920x1440x32 all settings maxed or on with 4 speaker EAX surround sound too ... never noticably slows down either
